AUDIO NOTE UK
Integrated Amplifiers
Audio Note electronics may be the key to the Audio Note sound. You could say there are two lines of sight in audio amplification. One route combines high power amplifiers with low efficiency loudspeakers. Our way is different. We create low power amps to be used with high efficiency loudspeakers. The result is a truly startling level of naturalness, detail, and ease, something not found in audio equipment today.
Our range of integrated amplifiers starts with the I Zero, the EL 34 based Cobra and the OTO Push Pull or Single-ended, EL 84 based, integrated amps. Available with or without phono stage. The best amplifier value in the Audio Note line. The OTO is satisfyingly full, dynamic, and clear, sounding and wonderfully informative through the midrange. THE SORO, 6L6G tube based integrated amplifiers come with a more robust and fuller presentation than the OTO.
Meishu Tonmeister, Meishu Tonmeister Silver, Meishu Tonmeister Silver Signature, 9 watt SET, 300B based integrated amplifiers. Available with or without phono stage. This is the best way to bring 300B tubes into your system if you’re a prudent rather than self-indulgent audiophile. Naturally, warm, and full sounding, it can be upgraded with NOS tubes to take it pretty much any direction you like.
Those who seek even more refinement and sheer power can enter the TOMEI or JINRO which share the same circuit design as the legendary ONGAKU. The overall sound if the JINRO is very subtly sweet, with a midrange that is a bit soft—timbrally, but not temporally—with an abundance of that often-noted-yet-never-explained "SET sound" that allows solo voices and instruments to stand musically and spatially proud of the rest of the mix. The JINRO plays melodies with unsurpassed flow and momentum. The TOMEI bridges the gap between the JINRO and the ONGAKU. Utilising a combination of both copper and silver for the transformers, its performance is both unique and beguiling.
Ah yes, the legendary Audio Note Ongaku... Many audiophiles around the world, rightly, consider it one of the 'Holy Grails' of audio... and for good reason! Here is the legend of handcraftsmanship, many pounds of hand wound silver transformers and a generous sprinkling of exotic parts all wrapped into a single chassis. Taking nearly 100 hours each to produce by highly skilled personnel with many years of experience. The result is an amplifier which presents more than just tonality or the harmonic structure; it is the weight, complexity and gestalt of aurally having the instrument within your listening room. There is simply no other way to put it and 1000 more words would not tell you more than that. If you desire true realism, then here it is.
I ZERO
For the Zero range, we decided to design an integrated amplifier rather than a pre / power combination. The result is the IZERO, and it has exceeded all of our expectations. Offering a level of performance that was previously considered unthinkable for an amplifier of such diminutive size and price, the IZERO really is something very special, producing a bold, rich, smooth and delicate performance, whilst offering a level of fine detail finesse that is quite incredible.

MEISHU TONMEISTER
To create a better amplifier, the natural idea was to simplify the circuit and optimise every element, so the combination works seamlessly and harmoniously together. This is exactly what we have done with the MEISHU Tonmeister. The new PSU uses only one mains transformer, one 5U4 rectifier valve and one choke. The input and driver stage is very similar to that found in the JINRO, TOMEI and ONGAKU, with a 12AU7 and 5687 driving an in-house designed and manufactured inter-stage transformer for the best energy transfer, evenness and authority. The result is an amplifier that maintains the legendary Audio Note musicality, midrange magic and glorious tonal colour, whilst bringing new and previously unheard levels of information retrieval and dynamic expression, redefining what is usually expected of a 300B SET amplifier.
TOMEI
The Audio Note (UK) TOMEI Integrated Amplifier is a Pure Class A Single Ended valve amplifier that uses the highly regarded 211 triode valve, producing a level of performance that is radically superior to the vast majority of current designs. Sharing the circuit design found in the legendary ONGAKU and JINRO integrated amplifiers, the TOMEI bridges the gap between them. Featuring a combination of both copper and silver for the transformers, its performance is both unique and beguiling. Level 4 components are used throughout, including Audio Note (UK)™ Tantalum resistors and Foil Capacitors and in-house designed and manufactured copper/silver wired output transformers.
COBRA
Our latest integrated amplifier, producing 28 watts per channel from a pair of EL34 valves operating in Class A push-pull. It is capable of driving a wide variety of 'speakers thanks to its exceptional double C-core output transformers, which are custom designed and manufactured by Audio Note (UK). Cobra is equipped with three analogue stereo inputs, and an additional three digital inputs, via the onboard DAC. The digital coax inputs can accept signals up to 24-bit/176.4kHz (native bit-depth for the Philips TDA1543 D/A converter chip is 16bit, so anything above this is truncated down). The Optical SPDIF input can accept signals up to 24-bit/96kHz (see above). The USB input can accept up to 16-bit/48kHz. Remote volume control, mute and input selection.
SORO SE
The Audio Note (UK) OTO Integrated Amplifier is Pure Class A, producing an outstanding level of performance. The OTO PP models have been specifically engineered for sonic performance rather than technical specification, and fulfil all Audio Note (UK) Level 2 criteria, Pure Class A Single-Ended Pentode operation. The output valves used are 6L6WGB.
JINRO
The Audio Note (UK) JINRO Integrated Amplifier is a Pure Class A Singled Ended valve amplifier that uses the highly regarded 211 triode valve, producing a level of performance that is radically superior to the vast majority of current designs. It uses the same circuit design and topology as the legendary Audio Note (UK) ONGAKU amplifier. However, where the ONGAKU uses silver wherever possible, such as for all transformer windings, the JINRO instead uses copper.
MEISHU KONZERTMEISTER
Based on our award winning Meishu Tonmeister 300B Single Ended Triode integrated amplifier, the Konzertmeister takes the design to full Level 4 performance and component quality. The Meishu Phono Konzertmeister is a Pure Class A Singled Ended valve amplifier that uses the highly regarded 300B directly heated triode valve, producing a level of

ONGAKU
The ONGAKU has rightly earned a place in history; its name is synonymous with the finest possible audio reproduction, and for once the reality is equal to the Legend! It is a Pure Class A Single Ended valve amplifier that uses the highly regarded 211 / VT-4C triode valve, producing a level of performance that is radically superior to any other current designs. Only the finest possible components have been employed: Audio Note (UK) silver wire has been used exclusively for all internal wiring, including all transformers and power supply connections. Audio Note two watt Tantalum resistors have been used throughout. All capacitors are either Black Gate Electrolytic or Audio Note (UK) silver foil. All transformers are our own in-house custom designed and manufactured devices; driver and output transformers are fully silver wired AN-Perma 50 nickel C-core and the mains transformer is a fully silver wired HiB double C core. No integrated amplifier has ever produced the levels of musical purity delivered by the ONGAKU… It is without doubt the finest possible integrated amplifier available today.
